As an expert in hydraulics, SOGEMA Services (a subsidiary of Orexad Brammer) specializes in the maintenance, repair, and supply of electrohydraulic parts. The company supplies its customers with hydraulic components, and provides a wide range of services, from troubleshooting and repairs (pumps, motors, cylinders, etc.) to oil analyses as well as the maintenance of installations, such as hydraulic presses. Yet given the high level of criticality of certain pieces of equipment, customers of SOGEMA Services needed a solution to monitor the health condition of their strategic equipment.
Monitor the health of equipment and attract new customers
As part of a "win-win" partnership, the SOGEMA Services research department and Parker's IoT department worked together closely to develop a predictive maintenance solution called Sogebox.
The solution also exclusively incorporates Parker components, such as IQAN (a controller with several CAN buses), ICount particle counters, as well as temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors.
This Industry 4.0 solution enables users to:
