Supply Chain Management | Parker Japan

As a global leader in motion and control technologies, we are aware of the critical role our engineering solutions play in creating a more sustainable future and our sustainability journey is not one we take on alone. Suppliers play a key role in our global initiatives, and we will continue to work with our suppliers to create a better tomorrow. It is the responsibility of our suppliers to implement management systems that comply with our Code of Conduct and applicable laws and regulations, mitigate operational risks, and facilitate continuous improvement. Adhering to these fundamental elements is critical to our mission of leading with integrity.

Supplier Partnerships

Parker has implemented several supply chain initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint. This includes leveraging sustainable transport methods to reduce emissions associated with air freight and transitioning to electronic documentation to reduce paper waste.

In addition, we are using EcoTransIT World as the tool to calculate CO2 emissions related to our subcontracted motor, rail, sea and air transport services.

We're also partnered with the CDP Supply Chain program to begin the process of quantifying our supplier's carbon footprint. Our goal is to determine our baseline footprint and then to work with our suppliers to achieve our Scope III targets.
