Vice President - Chief Digital and Information Officer
Dinu Parel is Vice President - Chief Digital and Information Officer for Parker Hannifin Corporation in Cleveland, OH. He is responsible for leading the company’s global IT organization and strategy, supporting the needs of team members and business operations by enabling Parker’s enterprise and digital capabilities.
Mr. Parel joined Parker in 2018 from Dover Corporation, where he was appointed as the company’s first-ever Chief Information Officer. In that role he developed and implemented a transformational initiative to position IT as a strategic business partner, and had responsibility for global IT strategy, cyber security and shared services. Prior to joining Dover, Mr. Parel held increasing responsibilities at Baker Hughes, including Integration Officer - IT, Head of IT - North America Region, Senior Director - Enterprise Application, and Director - Program Management Office.
He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Computer Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, a Master of Business Administration from Rice University, and completed the Global Leadership Program at Duke University.
