HANNOVER, Germany, 25. April 2022—Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, will promote products that demonstrate its ongoing commitment to the tyre industry and its desire to create safe, sustainable engineering solutions for a better tomorrow. Tire Technology Expo 2022 will welcome exhibitors and visitors as part of a showcase of materials and equipment for the tyre manufacturing sector. Building on over 60 years of tyre manufacturing systems and solutions development, Parker will have two key products on display at its booth in Hall 21, Stand 7074 this year: the Service Master CONNECT and the Sentinel™.

The Parker Service Master CONNECT is a strong diagnostic measuring device that has been designed to enable access an array of sensors used in hydraulic applications like those encountered in tyre production. The unit has a robust, shock-absorbent design and an IP65 rating that provides comprehensive protection against moisture and dirt, making it suitable for operation within the environment of tyre plants.

With a seven-inch illuminated colour touch display that enables smooth and intuitive operation, the modular construction allows customised set-ups according to individual measurement and analysis needs. The unit’s multiple connections can compile, store, monitor, and evaluate CAN bus data, and digital or analogue sensor signals for pressure, temperature, volume flow frequencies, rotational speeds, particles, water in oil, volume, and output. Suitable for very complex diagnostic tasks, the Service Master CONNECT can measure and display up to 100 channels, and it can be connected to CAN, CANopen, SAEJ-1939, analogue, digital, frequency, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth LE.

At Tire Technology Expo 2022, the company will also exhibit the Sentinel, an efficient fluid purification and hydraulic protection unit designed to ‘stand guard’ over hydraulic systems 24/7 and to increase productivity by eliminating moisture in the oil. The Sentinel takes fluid purification to a new level of dependability and efficiency by combining Parker’s filtration expertise and tyre industry know-how into one affordable and compact unit.

The Sentinel has a lightweight, tough, and portable design, with an optional laser detection particle counter. The unit can detect water-contaminated hydraulic oils or transformer fluids and can streamline the dehydration process, maximising maintenance budgets and boosting productivity while reducing costly, unscheduled downtime.
