Ultra-Low Carryover Gradient Valve | Regional English sites

HOLLIS, NH, October 25, 2021—The Parker Precision Fluidics Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, today announced the launch of the Ultra-Low Carryover Gradient Valve. Compliant to both REACH and RoHS, this miniaturized valve enables the reduction of overall instrument size and decreases system dead volume. Exceptional long life and crystallization resistance ensures that the valve will last the life of the instrument in a range of applications including liquid chromatography and HbA1C.

Available in 4 and 2 channel configurations, the patent pending ULC Gradient Valve has very low response times of 2 ms which improves gradient precision. The valve also boasts an internal volume as low as 4.05 µL (2-channel) and 9.4 µL (4-channel) from seat to port.

“With extensive customer feedback in our journey to developing this valve we are confident that it exceeds the expectations of the market” said Scott Marchessault, Product Manager, Parker Precision Fluidics Division. “We understood the customer’s challenges and then translated that into a valve that is 80% smaller and 75% lighter than existing valves servicing liquid chromatography applications”
