Parker Aerospace is an equal opportunity company, and prefers to do business with a wide variety of supplier organizations, including small businesses, disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned businesses, veteran-owned businesses and others.
SAE AS 9100 and related standards are recognized and accepted as the new world aerospace quality system standards and are being implemented throughout the aerospace supply chain in Asia, the Americas, and Europe. These global standards will be the same for aerospace suppliers throughout the world, regardless of their individual locations or customers. By creating one standardized set of requirements, eliminating those that are unique to particular companies, industry costs can be dramatically reduced. Everyone benefits, from customers to suppliers at every level of the chain.
Parker Aerospace and its divisions have adopted the AS 9100 standard, both internally and as a requirement for Parker suppliers. Parker recognizes that AS 9100, at its highest level, is not necessary for some suppliers. For these companies, Parker has developed lesser requirements based on AS 9100 and appropriate to the product or service being furnished. Suppliers should review their respective purchase orders to determine which document applies to them.
The safety and reliability requirements of aerospace products demand that all special process operations are performed in strict compliance with technical specifications, quality requirements, and workmanship standards.
This Approved Process Supplier List (APSL) identifies Process Suppliers that have been audited by Parker Aerospace and have proven that at the time of the audit, they were capable of complying with the requirements of the process specifications.
Parker Aerospace document P9112 lists the general and special "Q" (quality) clauses that may be required to ensure that a product or service being purchased meets all technical and quality requirements. When applicable, P9112 and the appropriate Q clauses will be listed on a supplier's purchase order. Parker Aerospace site and division quality clauses are complementary to document P9112.
