SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Typical modern pantographs incorporate air cushioning and precision pressure regulation to maintain consistent power connection, and use a variety of composite materials in their construction. Based on predefined dimensions, fixings and connection interfaces, Parker developed an integrated module delivering each of the major functions including raising and lowering the pantograph, carbon strip monitoring and compressor control. This inherent flexibility means the system is now readily available in a range of configurations, suiting single or multifunction applications.

SYSTEMS AND SOLUTIONS

Parker provides a range of systems and products for on-board sanitary applications, these include vacuum control systems, vacuum waste valves, valves for drinking water and valves for toilet water supply.

• Toilet Control Parker was able to incorporate all of the customers requirements into an integrated solution. Due to the corrosive nature of some of the detergents Parker selected high performing valve. Part of the system was made from stainless steel which was then fixed and piped to the main system. 
• Vacuum generator Parker provided a customized vacuum generator that integrated a solenoid valve and provided an additional port for direct mounting of a pressure switch. Parker's distributor provided value-added assembly of components, fittings, switches, and a panel plate. 
• Waste valve actuation Parker successfully designed a pneumatic sluice valve arrangement complete with pneumatic cylinder to control its opening and closing. By working closely with the customer to clearly understand the application and requirements, Parker constructed the sluice valve from stainless steel in order to withstand the corrosive cleaning detergents and water. The valve was designed to fit with the space envelope available and supplied with fixing hole positions for the customer to mount directly in position.
